5 Essential Things in SEO

1. Google Algorithms 

Google algorithm is the main part of SEO. Algorithms are a set of rules to be followed in calculations or problem-solving operations. So Google algorithms are mainly used in website ranking. this is also called SEO updates or Google Updates. In digital marketing, we focus on the Google search engine so we need to know about all Google algorithms. If we will not follow all Google algorithms than we can’t rank our website.

Following Google algorithms are listed below:

According to me, we need to follow all Google algorithms which are helpful for website ranking in SEO.

2. Choose Relevant Keywords

Keywords are also an important part of SEO because without keywords we can’t rank our website. We will work on our keywords for ranking our website. First of all, we need to select correct keywords for our business as if our business works locally then we choose long-tail keywords.

For eg digital marketing in Amritsar is a long-tail keyword that's used for Amritsar place.

If our business is working globally then we choose short tail keywords like digital marketing is a short tail keyword that's used globally. We choose our keywords by keywords planner tool in Google AdWords.

For select our relevant keywords we need to know three things:

Choose Long-tail Keywords: If we want to rank our website as soon as possible then we choose Long tail keywords like SEO in Amritsar, digital marketing in Amritsar, etc.

Choose High Search Volume: High search volume means highly search keywords by people. So we need to choose only high search volume keywords for large traffic on our website.

Choose Low or Medium Competition: we need to choose low or medium competition keywords instead of high competition. Because if our keyword is high competition then it takes much time to rank our website.

3. Add Unique Content

Content is a main part of SEO because without any content we can’t rank our website. As we know, Content is king, so we need to add unique content on our website so we can rank our website. Content should be attractable and users-friendly so visitors read your blogs and take interest on your website.

Google will give first preference on our unique content so we need to write only unique content and avoid duplicity. This is also called content marketing. For content marketing, we need to optimize our content and add our keywords.

For eg. my keywords are digital marketing jobs in Kolkata, digital marketing in Amritsar, RR technologies, etc. these keywords would be used in content for content marketing.

 4. Meta Title and Meta Description

This is the main thing that's used to make a website user-friendly.  We should create a unique title and a unique description. 

Let’s take an example:

So for generating an attractive link, we need to add our keyword related to our business.then after ranking our keywords Google will show our link in 10 organic results. 

These links are shown by meta title and meta description. Meta Title length must be in 58-60 characters and Meta Description length must be 158-160 characters.

5. Search Engines Webmaster 

We need to register our website in search engine webmaster then after we can track our website easily where our website rank on a search engine. Mainly 95% of people use Google and Bing search engines so we should register our website in these search engines. Yahoo search engine is also used by people, so If you add your website in the Yahoo search engine then yahoo users can see your website whenever you rank your website.
