Keywords Match Types are keywords that can be used to control and trigger your ads to appear. There are 4 types of keywords match in AdWords: Broad Match, Broad Match Modifier, Phrase Match Exact Match. Let's Start Now...

1. Broad Match Keywords

As you see this name, Broad Match Keywords is one of the keywords that is closely related to that keyword where a person searches on the search engine. When a user searches any misspelling keywords on Google. Google artificial intelligence will automatically create the correct spelling of that keyword. this is known as broad match type keywords. The symbol of the broad match is: "example keyword".

The Broad Type is matches to synonyms, related search, close variations, and misspellings. To easily understand this, let me take an example: 

" When I search only SEO on Google. Google will show all the match keywords. they will show all the SEO results like SEO Services, SEO Training, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Website Development, and All the close variations".

2. Broad Match Modifier

Broad Match Modifier is the part of Broad Match type keywords. This is useful to create Google AdWords PPC Ads. This Match Type lies in between broad and phrase match. It includes the + variant for a search term. This match type will create long-tail keywords. The symbol of the Broad Match Modifier is "+ example+keyword".

The Broad Match Modifier is matching to all words preceded by '+' and a close variant. Broad Match Modifier only works when we use broad match keywords. This is very helpful to create PPC Ads to increase clicks and conversion rates.

When we create PPC Ads on Broad Keywords like - SEO. Google AdWords will give the broad match modifier type. we have to set up a broad modifier match type on our AdWords account. For example +SEO+Amritsar. the keyword matches to SEO Training Amritsar and SEO in Amritsar.

3. Phrase Match Keywords

Phrase Match is more targeted than broad match. With the help of a phrase match, you can show your ad to a user who is searching for your close variant of the exact keyword. This search term includes the keyword phrase without using any extra words. Like, if we search for Colgate Toothpaste, Google will show the results relates to Colgate toothpaste. For example Colgate Max fresh toothpaste, Colgate Active Salt Toothpaste, etc.

The Symbol of Phrase Match is: "example keyword". This is also useful to create successful PPC Ads. To create AdWords ads, you must put your keyword in quotation marks. For example: "Digital Marketing", "SEO Services", "Facebook Ads". This match type is a help to show your local results for that keyword.

4. Exact Match Keywords

This match type is very important to your Google ads account. this is also called specific keywords. With the help of the exact match type, you can show your Google ads to your customer who is searching for your exact keyword only. But those keywords are very costly and you can earn very fewer clicks or impressions. But they will give you a genuine customer.

Let me take an example: if we search for SEO Services in Amritsar, Google will show the results only SEO Services in Amritsar. they will not be listing to SEO Service in Amritsar. 

The Symbol of the exact match type is: [example keyword]. the search term is matched to an exact keyword or a close variant. To run Google ads, you put your keywords in square brackets. For example [SEO Training Amritsar], [Digital Marketing in Amritsar], [SEO in Amritsar], [SEO Services in Delhi]. These are specific long-tail keywords to show the exact results of those keywords.
